This week's class ....

Hi everyone !!

This is the layout that we will be creating this week in class.

I have used a photo of 'father & son' but you may use any photo you like. This one measures 5" x 7".
 Class starts at 7pm at the shop and costs $20.00. You need to bring your usual kit  and everything else is supplied. The shop is toaty warm and free cuppa & supper is supplied as well.
Come along and enjoy some laughter & creating.

New things to come .....

Jane & myself ventured to Adelaide last Tuesday to check out the new products one of our major suppliers will have available over the next few months. It's very exciting to see what is coming for us to play & create with.

Printed canvas flowers. How cool & such lovely soft colours.

This is some beautiful ribbon roses and folded velour that will look so elegant on cards & pages.

Prima have a wonderful selection of flowers again that will be released soon. This is just a tiny look at some of them.

Donna Downey's iron on's are a must !!! I can't wait to be able to get my hands on these. They will look great on aprons, t-shirts, jumpers, canvases & layouts. The possibilities are endless. Below are a two designs but there are many more for sale.

Stitching is going to be BIG in the craft world. These flowers are so cute with a great array of colours & designs.

One last snippet is this fab craft knife. It's a great design with a good grip, fab price and of course ... it's PINK !!!
Well this is just a small selection of what we were able to see. I'll post some more images soon.

What's in the box ???????

This is a cute little 'SUITCASE BOX' that Jane [& Sandie] created for a class. It's a cute little box that has a fake animal skin cover, buckles and brads. It also has a cute little clasp and metal corners. Hmmmmmmm ..... I wonder what might be inside. Ahhhhhhhhhh .... look it's a pink butterfly and beautiful flowers.

It's a liitle gift box 'Just for You'. How sweet. If you are interested in learning how to create this little treasure, pop into the shop and the Pixies will be more than happy to show you.

We have a morning class this Saurday 14th August starting at 10.00 am. Book now to secure your seat. You will be making three beautiful cards in lovely pinks & greens.

The Pixies shall be spreading their pixie dust in Adelaide on Tuesday as we take flight & check out new products & samples from wholesaler Print Blocks. We are quite excited about getting to see all the new things that they will be stocking from CHA SUMMER in USA. We look forward to coming home with many ideas and stocking the new products for all to share and create with.

New look.

Hello friends of the Pixies.

We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase some fabulous new shelving for our little shop. This is the little front room you walk into first. These two stands are just perfect for displaying all sorts of cards and of

the page projects.

We have been able to do away with the 'a' frame in the middle of the shop and use our newly purchased racks. It really does open the shop up and makes it bright and airy.

Call in to check out what it looks like in real life. We do have hand made cards by several talented ladies for sale and they are displayed in a fabulous revolving cardrack now.
Our PUNCH SALE is still on with some larger punches on special for HALF PRICE. Specials will be while stocks last.
We have a small selection of new papers in and are awaiting the arrival of some fantastic 'beaded ribbons. Look out for that in store soon.

In Kids class next week, we'll make ..........

this card and mobile.

This birthday card is made from cutting out flowers from patterned paper and adding ribbon as stems.This is the mobile we are going to make. [Sorry about the bad photo but I wanted to get it posted.] This one is made of butterflies but you can make one from any shape punch we have on hand.

Kids classes are on next MONDAY & WEDNESDAY at the shop [41 Sandstone Avenue Naracoorte]
1.00 pm to 3.00 pm at a cost of $15.00 per child. Everything you need is included in cost.

Having a blast with Coco.

Christina Leahy [Coco] was our Guest Host on Wednesday 30th June. We ran a day and night class. We created the most beautiful collage card with a christmas theme. We appreciate Coco taking time out from her family holiday to spend it with the Pixies and friends.

Our day class was well supported and the Pixies will definately be organising DAY CLASSES on a Wednesday soon, so keep a eye out for those.

The night class was heaps of fun and Jane & myself were able to participate as well due to some last minute non-attendances.

The finished product. Even though we all used the same pieces, we all put our own spin on the collage card and they turned out to be very unique creations.

Once again we thank Coco so much for taking the time to join us.

Don't forget to bring your works in and show us so we can pass onto Coco the fun you are all having playing with collage.

At present we are preparing for KIDS CLASSES as it's school holidays now.

Kids classes are on MONDAY and WEDNESDAY of both weeks. The classes start at 1pm and finish at 3pm. BOOK NOW as we have very limited seating left.
