New look.

Hello friends of the Pixies.

We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase some fabulous new shelving for our little shop. This is the little front room you walk into first. These two stands are just perfect for displaying all sorts of cards and of

the page projects.

We have been able to do away with the 'a' frame in the middle of the shop and use our newly purchased racks. It really does open the shop up and makes it bright and airy.

Call in to check out what it looks like in real life. We do have hand made cards by several talented ladies for sale and they are displayed in a fabulous revolving cardrack now.
Our PUNCH SALE is still on with some larger punches on special for HALF PRICE. Specials will be while stocks last.
We have a small selection of new papers in and are awaiting the arrival of some fantastic 'beaded ribbons. Look out for that in store soon.

In Kids class next week, we'll make ..........

this card and mobile.

This birthday card is made from cutting out flowers from patterned paper and adding ribbon as stems.This is the mobile we are going to make. [Sorry about the bad photo but I wanted to get it posted.] This one is made of butterflies but you can make one from any shape punch we have on hand.

Kids classes are on next MONDAY & WEDNESDAY at the shop [41 Sandstone Avenue Naracoorte]
1.00 pm to 3.00 pm at a cost of $15.00 per child. Everything you need is included in cost.

Having a blast with Coco.

Christina Leahy [Coco] was our Guest Host on Wednesday 30th June. We ran a day and night class. We created the most beautiful collage card with a christmas theme. We appreciate Coco taking time out from her family holiday to spend it with the Pixies and friends.

This is our night class and their finished collage cards.

Our day class was well supported and the Pixies will definately be organising DAY CLASSES on a Wednesday soon, so keep a eye out for those.

The night class was heaps of fun and Jane & myself were able to participate as well due to some last minute non-attendances.

The finished product. Even though we all used the same pieces, we all put our own spin on the collage card and they turned out to be very unique creations.

Once again we thank Coco so much for taking the time to join us.

Don't forget to bring your works in and show us so we can pass onto Coco the fun you are all having playing with collage.

At present we are preparing for KIDS CLASSES as it's school holidays now.

Kids classes are on MONDAY and WEDNESDAY of both weeks. The classes start at 1pm and finish at 3pm. BOOK NOW as we have very limited seating left.

Hello bloggers !!! Welcome to this blog for PINK PIXIE Craft Supplies. I have posted a picture of the cards the CHRISTINA LEAHY [Coco] will be teaching for our class on 30th June. The first one is a simpler card made from punched shapes, ink & bling. The second one is a Christmas Scene which fits well with 'Christmas in July' arriving all too soon !!

Christina has used many elements to this beautiful collage card and I can't wait to be getting my hands dirty helping with this one.

If you would like to join us for class & meet Christina [if you don't happen to already LOVE her !!! hee hee] then BOOK NOW. We will be having our normal night class at the shop, 7.30 pm OR if you care to let us know NOW .... we may be able to run a DAY class on the Wednesday as well if numbers permit - [note - one card only].  So please let us know as soon as possible so we may arrange this. Thank you. We are so looking forward to Christina coming to play. Just wanting to let you all know that we ahve a good range of Distress Embossing powders in stock. Those who attended the 'Distress Class' had lots of fun learning and playing with these and all the other 'Distress' products.This is a pic of the 'FLOWERS' class that was run a few weeks ago. These beautiful set of flowers were created by JANE and .....these were designed by Sandie. It was lots of fun but we were a little OVER sanding by the end of the night though !!! lol

We do have a couple of sets left for anyone who wishes to purchase a kit to make up. They do look awesome completed ..... don't you think ???

This is a snap shot of some of the techniques we had fun playing around with at the last 'TECHNIQUES CLASS'. We used the full range of Distress goodies to create some fabulous ideas.

So if you are at all interested in learnign something new or just making up a few cards or layout .... pop along to one of our classes and join in the fun and meet some like-minded people.
We have heating for the colder nights and supply hot tea/coffee and scrummie supper. So call in now to see what's coming up in the next few weeks.

Flowers, ribbons, specials & more.

Hello all you crafters. Hoping you all have had a great weekend and been able to get some craft time in.

Below are some of the beautiful PRIMA flowers we have got in stock. These make the perfect addition to a layout or an 'Off the Page'  project.We also have a great range of DARKROOM DOOR stamp sets. We have butterflies, card, writing, flowers and many more sets in stock now. All sets are quality red rubber and come with their own storage tin which makes keeping them all together & safe, very easy. 

Ribbons in the shop at the moment are just fantastic !!! These below are small bud roses on a sheer ribbin base. We have the ribbon in cream & brown colours.Look at this fabulous twisted brown & green ribbon. Mmmmmmm ... what could you do with this ??Lastly is a wonderful JUTE ribbon in natural and a deep redish colour. This works well on cards, layouts or whatever other project you may think of.We have just received a small range of HERO ARTS cling stamps in. Pop in and check out what we have in stock. If there is one you really like and it's not in store ..... we can always order it in for you, no worries.Sixxiz dies can be used with your CUTTLEBUG machine and we have the range of TIM HOLTZ Sixxiz dies along with these few cool ones as well.

This week's class is .....

this layout. We will be using BASIC GREY pattern papers and some PRIMA flowers and fabulous ribbons. The photo I used is of my Nana & Papa on their wedding day, 20th May 1933.

We also have some fantastic SPECIAL BOXES in store this week for you to grab a bargain. Specials start from 20 cents and go through to $25.00. You're sure to find yourself something we're sure.

Pink Pixie Craft Supplies are also starting their monthly CHALLENGE PACKS NOW!! Each kit contains bazzill, papers, ribbon and embellishments for a cost of $10.00. You have until around the 20th of the month to create your project and drop it into the shop. It will then be placed on display. The Pixies will pick a winner at the end of the month who will receive a small gift. All you need to do is add photos and any other embellishments you want to. It will be interesting to see how different these projects will be from everyone using the same kit.
