Show Day

Naracoorte Show is on today Saturday 15th October.  Pink Pixie's will be selling a limited supply of

Card Classes

Hello all you crafty bloggers & welcome to another post from PINK PIXIE Craft Supplies .If you did not attend last night's card class ..... then here is just a small snippet of what you missed out on. The Pixies created a set of three cards from a selection of Graphic 45 papers.

Classes are only $20.00 and we hold both day and night classes. Our next class will be cards on FRIDAY 1st April starting at 10.00am. Anyone is most welcome to come along and enjoy some fun with like minded people. Don't forget that our monthly challenge kits are due in by this Saturday 26th March. Also with the Masters Games here in Naracoorte in a couple of weeks, PINK PIXIE will be open on SATURDAY 2nd April & SUNDAY 3rd April  ... 10.00am to 2.00pm, so call on down and have a browse.

Happy New Year to all our Pink Pixie followers and friends, hope you have a fantastic, safe and happy year.
The Pixies are hoping to keep our blog more up todate for you this year, with lots of product and instore news. 

Our 1st bit of news for 2011 is that Copic Australia have a great promotion for you to enter.

what a great way to start the year.  This will bring the Ciao range up to 180 fantastic colours.
The new colours are expected to arrive in store late January, early February. We will keep you posted.

The new Vagabond machine has arrived, along with some new papers, ribbons and metal charms. 

Classes will resume in store Wednesday 2nd February at 7.30pm.  Our first card class for the year is a set of 3 masculine cards, using graphic 45 papers and some interesting folds.

Shop news .....

Hi bloggers of this poor neglected blog!!!! My apologies for not posting on here for some time now. Life has been soooooo busy & thrown a few challenges our way and this has been one thing NOT to get done. It has been in my thoughts .... but everytime I start ..... it doesn't happen until TODAY !!!!!

Now .... let's get down to business !!!!

We are now official COPIC MARKER sellers. We have in stock the CIAO Copic marker at present and are looking forward to extending our range as time goes on. If there is ANY colour in ANY marker you would like, we are able to order it in. We can get them all ... Copic Original, Sketch, Ciao or refills.

We also have in stock the MEMENTO ink in Tuxedo Black for stamping your images with [recommended] and the smooth blending paper [also recommended] along with masking paper as well.

 These are just a sample of the colours available for sale ....... mmmmmmm, look yummy don't they!!!

 The Pixies will be travelling to Melbourne mid November to take a workshop on the COPIC markers. We will be taught all about the products and shown how to blend, airbrush and so much more. We are really looking forward to that & being able to come back home and teach everyone here.

 Below is just one of the many layout kits we have for sale in the shop. Of course you won't be using my mug shot !!! but something of your own. These kits are only $12.00 each and we have many different styles available. It is a start point for all you lovelies out there .... you can change it up to suit yourself and add whatever your heart desires to these as well.

 There are also card kits  available for the same price of $12.00 each. The kit shown here makes 12 of these cards with spare left to create more. Fantastic value !!! Cute idea for little princesses.

 Christmas pattern papers by .... you guessed it .... Graphic 45 !! We have on display in store a kit of these papers you can buy along with matching Bazzill where you can make 10 Christmas cards!!! WOW ... it's that easy.

This week's class ....

Hi everyone !!

This is the layout that we will be creating this week in class.

I have used a photo of 'father & son' but you may use any photo you like. This one measures 5" x 7".
 Class starts at 7pm at the shop and costs $20.00. You need to bring your usual kit  and everything else is supplied. The shop is toaty warm and free cuppa & supper is supplied as well.
Come along and enjoy some laughter & creating.

New things to come .....

Jane & myself ventured to Adelaide last Tuesday to check out the new products one of our major suppliers will have available over the next few months. It's very exciting to see what is coming for us to play & create with.

Printed canvas flowers. How cool & such lovely soft colours.

This is some beautiful ribbon roses and folded velour that will look so elegant on cards & pages.

Prima have a wonderful selection of flowers again that will be released soon. This is just a tiny look at some of them.

Donna Downey's iron on's are a must !!! I can't wait to be able to get my hands on these. They will look great on aprons, t-shirts, jumpers, canvases & layouts. The possibilities are endless. Below are a two designs but there are many more for sale.

Stitching is going to be BIG in the craft world. These flowers are so cute with a great array of colours & designs.

One last snippet is this fab craft knife. It's a great design with a good grip, fab price and of course ... it's PINK !!!
Well this is just a small selection of what we were able to see. I'll post some more images soon.

What's in the box ???????

This is a cute little 'SUITCASE BOX' that Jane [& Sandie] created for a class. It's a cute little box that has a fake animal skin cover, buckles and brads. It also has a cute little clasp and metal corners. Hmmmmmmm ..... I wonder what might be inside. Ahhhhhhhhhh .... look it's a pink butterfly and beautiful flowers.

It's a liitle gift box 'Just for You'. How sweet. If you are interested in learning how to create this little treasure, pop into the shop and the Pixies will be more than happy to show you.

We have a morning class this Saurday 14th August starting at 10.00 am. Book now to secure your seat. You will be making three beautiful cards in lovely pinks & greens.

New look.

Hello friends of the Pixies.

We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase some fabulous new shelving for our little shop. This is the little front room you walk into first. These two stands are just perfect for displaying all sorts of cards and of

the page projects.

We have been able to do away with the 'a' frame in the middle of the shop and use our newly purchased racks. It really does open the shop up and makes it bright and airy.

Call in to check out what it looks like in real life. We do have hand made cards by several talented ladies for sale and they are displayed in a fabulous revolving cardrack now.
Our PUNCH SALE is still on with some larger punches on special for HALF PRICE. Specials will be while stocks last.
We have a small selection of new papers in and are awaiting the arrival of some fantastic 'beaded ribbons. Look out for that in store soon.

In Kids class next week, we'll make ..........

this card and mobile.

This birthday card is made from cutting out flowers from patterned paper and adding ribbon as stems.This is the mobile we are going to make. [Sorry about the bad photo but I wanted to get it posted.] This one is made of butterflies but you can make one from any shape punch we have on hand.

Kids classes are on next MONDAY & WEDNESDAY at the shop [41 Sandstone Avenue Naracoorte]

Having a blast with Coco.

Christina Leahy [Coco] was our Guest Host on Wednesday 30th June. We ran a day and night class. We created the most beautiful collage card with a christmas theme. We appreciate Coco taking time out from her family holiday to spend it with the Pixies and friends.

The finished product. Even though we all used the same pieces, we all put our own spin on the collage card and they turned out to be very unique creations.

Once again we thank Coco so much for taking the time to join us.

At present we are preparing for KIDS CLASSES as it's school holidays now.

Hello bloggers !!! Welcome to this blog for PINK PIXIE Craft Supplies. I have posted a picture of the cards the CHRISTINA LEAHY [Coco] will be teaching for our class on 30th June. The first one is a simpler card made from punched shapes, ink & bling. The second one is a Christmas Scene which fits well with 'Christmas in July' arriving all too soon !!

Christina has used many elements to this beautiful collage card and I can't wait to be getting my hands dirty helping with this one.

If you would like to join us for class & meet Christina [if you don't happen to already LOVE her !!! hee hee] then BOOK NOW. We will be having our normal night class at the shop, 7.30 pm OR if you care to let us know NOW .... we may be able to run a DAY class on the Wednesday as well if numbers permit - [note - one card only].  So please let us know as soon as possible so we may arrange this. Thank you. We are so looking forward to Christina coming to play. Just wanting to let you all know that we ahve a good range of Distress Embossing powders in stock. Those who attended the 'Distress Class' had lots of fun learning and playing with these and all the other 'Distress' products.This is a pic of the 'FLOWERS' class that was run a few weeks ago. These beautiful set of flowers were created by JANE and .....these were designed by Sandie. It was lots of fun but we were a little OVER sanding by the end of the night though !!! lol

We do have a couple of sets left for anyone who wishes to purchase a kit to make up. They do look awesome completed ..... don't you think ???

This is a snap shot of some of the techniques we had fun playing around with at the last 'TECHNIQUES CLASS'. We used the full range of Distress goodies to create some fabulous ideas.

So if you are at all interested in learnign something new or just making up a few cards or layout .... pop along to one of our classes and join in the fun and meet some like-minded people.
We have heating for the colder nights and supply hot tea/coffee and scrummie supper. So call in now to see what's coming up in the next few weeks.

Hello all you crafters. Hoping you all have had a great weekend and been able to get some craft time in.

We have the ribbon in cream & brown colours.Look at this fabulous twisted brown & green ribbon. Mmmmmmm ... what could you do with this ??Lastly is a wonderful JUTE ribbon in natural and a deep redish colour. This works well on cards, layouts or whatever other project you may think of.We have just received a small range of HERO ARTS cling stamps in. Pop in and check out what we have in stock.
