MAY maddness .....
Hello from the Pixies !!!
Welcome to another blog showcasing some of our upcoming classes. The following are the cards that you will be able to create in our coming card class. These have been made with products in store, so if you like it, you can purchase it !!
The first card is made with a beautiful antique dress stamp finished with lace and beads.
This second card is elegant created in classic black and white with a touch of red.

The last card is a great one for a male. Vintage car, metal and very deep rich colours. So if you like the look and wish to know how, well BOOK NOW for your place in the card class on 5th May.
Our 'Off the Page' project for the month of May is this fabulous CLOCK. It is created with classic vintage colours. You may add photos, flowers [as I have], metal, more bling, WHATEVER to your. You will be provided with the basic clock base with clock workings, paper and some embellishments in class. 
If you are thinking you would like to join in with the Pixies and make your very own CLOCK ... BOOK NOW for your place in class. Below is a closeup of the flower I have popped on my own clock.
This is showing one of the word rubbons, ribbon and pearls that I have used for mine.

On a diiferent note ... this was the view we had from our shop windows last Saturday. Horses in action performing their dressage routines. Added a little something to our day.

Classes
Hi from the Pixies !!!
Thank you to all the children who popped along to our holiday classes & made some wonderful cards & a layout. Jane & myself did enjoy the laughter that the kids bring to our shop & we hope that you all enjoyed yourselves too.
Marion enjoyed Wednesday night's class of Vintage Cards and we hope that all those we are not feeling well, get better real quick !! Unfortunately the change of seasons can bring the nasties for a bit, so stay warm & snug.
This Wednesday's class is a TECHNIQUE CLASS & this one is on FLOWERS. You will be shown how to make several types of flowers from paper & fabric. These look fabulous on cards or layouts. We have a GUEST ARTIST coming to help us out with a couple of her own flowers designs, so book yourself in & learn some new techniques.
Future classes include more cards, layout and 'Off the Page'. Pop into the shop to check out what they look like and book yourself in.
NEW TIMES -
As winter is approaching and Daylight Saving has now finished, the shop will be closing a little earlier on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday nights. We are now closing at 5.30pm instead of 6pm. ALL other times remain the same. If the bright pink flags are flying then we are OPEN !!
New stock has been arriving and we have a special day planned coming up very shortly, so please keep an eye out for that !!! Our BARGAIN BOX is brimming again with lots of cheap goodies.
National Scrapbboking Day is happening in May and we have some plans in the pipeline to celebrate. Watch this space and check the newsletter for details on that.

Cards for Kids classes in holidays.

This TUESDAY & THURSDAY [5th & 7th April], we shall be making these cards. Classes cost $15.00 per child & run from 1pm to 3pm.
Next week, TUESDAY & THURSDAY [13th & 15th April, we shall be making a layout.

Hi & HAPPY EASTER to you all. Sorry this post is a little late but I did try to upload pics on Friday but it would not let me, so here it is now.
This is ONE of the many new wood mounted stamps that we have received over the last couple of days. Call in to see the huge range that are now for sale.
Rainbow packs of inks are in store. These multi coloured pads can be used with a brayer to make cool backgrounds for cards. We have a BRIGHTS & LIGHTS set.
This is a selection of the wood mounted stamps available in store. We also have received UNITY STAMPS all the way from USA !!! These include some 'Donna Downey' designs which are soooo cool. We also have a wide range of clear and unmounted stamps. Something for everyone.
What a mass of beautiful colour !!! just arrived is a selection of acrylic paint tubes from Kaisercraft. These are wonderful for 'off the page' projects and much more.
Bling, bling, bling. One can never have too much bling !!! We have in store PEARLS and RHINESTONES in a myrid of wonderful colours. I'm sure you'll be able to find a colour for everything !!
